Idly 65


  • Idly                      -4-5 nos(cut into strips like finger chips)
  • Bengal gram flour-2 tbsp
  • Chilli powder-2tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Turmeric               -1 tsp
  • Garam masala      -1 tsp
  • Curd                      -2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to fry


  1. In a bowl add gram four, chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt and curd.
  2. Mix well. Marinate the idly strips in the mixture. Wait for ½ hr.
  3. Heat oil in Tawa; roast the idly strips on all sides till golden brown and crisp.
  4. Serve with Chatpata sauce
