- Onion – 1 no
- Red tomato – 2 no
- Garlic – 4 pods
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Mustard – ½ tsp
- Urid dal (split black gram) – ½ tsp
- Curry leaves – few
- Asafoetida powder – pinch
- Chop onion, tomato and garlic.
- Fry Onion, tomatoes, garlic, and red chilli powder in a fry pan; allow it to cool.
- Grind together with salt.
- Heat a pan, do the seasoning and add the ground paste; mix well.
- Cook in a low flame, till oil separates from the mix.
