Raw Banana Fry


Ingredientsraw bana

Raw Banana – 2 nos

Mustard Seeds – ½ tbsp

Urad dal            – ½ tbsp

Onion          – ½ ( cut into small pieces)

Curry leaves   – few

Turmeric powder   – a pinch

Coconut            – ¼ cup (grated)

Oil   – 3 tbsp

Water – ½ cup

Salt –

Green Chillies   – 1



  1. In a Pan, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds, let it splutter.
  2. Add urad dal let it turn golden yellow. Now add Onion, curry leaves and green chilli.
  3. Fry the onion translucent, add water, turmeric powder and salt. Allow it to boil.
  4. Now add the cut raw banana. Allow it to cook.

Finally add coconut and fry it for another 1 minute. Raw banana fry is ready to serve.
