Mooli Parathas

mooli parathas Ingredients

For Parathas

Maida – 1 cup
Oil -1 tsp
Salt to taste

For Stuffing

Radish – 1-2 nos (Grated)
Carom Seeds/ajwain – ½ tsp
Pepper powder – 1tsp freshly ground
Oil – 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Maida – 1 tbsp
Milk -1tsp


Prepare Stuffing:

1. In a kadai, add a tsp of oil fry the carom seeds, pepper
2. Add the grated radish fry nicely until all the water evaporates.
3. In a bowl mix maida and salt with little milk
4. Transfer the content to the mixture in kadai, mix thorougly until moisture is fully removed.
5. Cool down the mixture in a plate.

To make the Parathas:

1. Mix atta in a bowl add a pinch of salt and keep it aside.
2. Now divide atta into equal portion, make it to a cup shape and stuff the mixture.
3. Roll out the parathas applying even pressure.
4. Take a pan cook the parathas with little oil on sides.
5. Serve with raita and pickle
Until you say its radish nobody will be able to identify its Mooli paratha.
