Goosbeery Raita


Amla (Nellikai) -2 nos

Salt – to taste

Grated coconut – 1 tsp

Oil – 1 tsp

Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp

Thick curd – 2 big spoons


1. Cut the amla into small pieces leaving out the seed. Grind it along with coconut.

2. Heat oil, add mustard seeds. When it splutters, add the grinded amla and allow it to cook for a minute.

3. Let it cool and finally add the curd.

4. Mix well and serve.

Similarly, Mango, Manga inji (Ginger mango) can be used for this raita
