Corn flakes Mixture


  1. Cornflakes unroasted – 4 cups
  2. Groundnuts – ½ cup
  3. Cashew nuts – 15 to 20 broken into halves
  4. Raisins – 20 to 25 (optional)
  5. Curry Leaves – 3 to 4 strings
  6. Oil for deep frying
  7. Salt – as required
  8. Chilli Powder – ½ tsp
  9. Asafoetida/Hing – ¼ tsp


  1. Wash the curry leaves and dry it.
  2. Heat oil in a pan for deep frying.
  3. Fry the corn flakes and drain it in tissue paper.
  4. Similarly fry the groundnuts, cashew nuts, raisins and curry leaves      one by one
  5. And add it to the fried cornflakes.
  6. Now add the chilli powder and hing to the above and toss well.
  7. Cool and store in airtight containers.
