It’s a common sweet made during the Christmas season.



Coconut milk – 1 coconut full
Eggs – 2
Flour – ½ kg
Salt – 1 tsp

For Syrup

Sugar- ½ kg

Water – 1cup



1. Knead the flour; eggs, coconut milk and salt make it into a ball of dough. Cover with a damp cloth and leave it for some time.

2. Then roll out the dough and cut into strips and them into small squares. Form into kulkuls by rolling the strips into curls using a fork (shape into twists). Deep fry the kulkuls.

3. Make thick sugar syrup dip the kulkuls, stir until well coated and dry. Remove and store in an airtight container.
