1. Have a watch on your weight
Being both under/ overweight both can affect ovulations. Try to maintain an ideal weight before you conceive. This will make you feel better throughout your pregnancy this will lower your risk of oedema, high blood pressure and diabetes during pregnancy. So start consuming healthier foods like whole grains, fruits and vegetables and with moderate exercise like walking and yoga may even make conception easier.
2.Check Your Meds
Some prescription medications are safe to take during pregnancy; and some are not. So if you are planning for pregnancy, then stop self medications and always have a check with your doctor before consuming the same.
3.Cut Back on Caffeine
High caffeine intakes reduce fertility levels, so cutting back make increase chances of getting pregnant easier.
4. Pre pregnancy Testing
Consult your doctor for a pre-pregnancy check up with blood tests and ask for the vaccinations you should get before you conceive. Especially if your family history has genetically transmitted diseases like diabetes, etc.. Then it’s always better to have a check on the same to make sure that you are in good health. This vitamin is found in leafy greens like spinach, mint leaves and many breakfast cereals are fortified with it. Start taking folic acid supplements to ensure you get enough of it.
6.Reduce Frequent Long Journey
Travelling also gets a little more complicated when you’re pregnant and can reduce chances of pregnancy. So consult your doctor before you go.
Having sex at regular intervals is the best way to get pregnant. Normally Couples often try to meet everything perfectly before ovulation but do not have sex when they are ovulating. Sex not within the time of ovulation will not result in pregnancy. And also women do not always ovulate as and when they think so have a check on your ovulation time and have sex at regular intervals this really helps you a lot. After a woman ovulates the egg will survive approximately 12-24 hours. Sperm, on the other hand, will live for up to 5-6 days. So don’t wait until the day you ovulate to have sex. Your partner’s sperm will last longer than your egg and you don’t want to miss an opportunity by waiting.

Although this is better than a chance of having sex. Many women do not ovulate on the same day knowing precisely the cycle when you ovulate will help you time of intercourse better. Or watch signs of ovulation to determine the same.
8. Symptoms of Ovulation
Cervical fluid is a important component to know your ovulation phase. Cervical fluid (or mucus), changes its texture throughout the cycle, and It is very important to have the check on the same. When the cervical fluid begins it has clear appearance and turns very stretchy–similar to raw egg white–this is a sign that you are going to ovulate very soon. Also some women feel bulkiness in breast and start having cramps near the lower abdomen.
